September 21: Ogletree, Goglas Win USATF-NJ Half Marathon Titles


Cheyenne Ogletree won her third straight USATF-NJ Half Marathon Title, while her fiancé Ken Goglas won his second in three years, as the adidas Garden State Track Club swept the team titles in Jersey City.  The men's teams finished 1-2-5, as the women's teams finished 1-2-6.

September 14: GSTC Racks Up 118 Points at USATF-NJ XC 5k


The men and women of the aGSTC put on an incredible team display at the USATF-NJ 5k XC Championships, scoring 118 points to increase their lead in the USATF-NJ Overall Grand Prix to 162 points.  The women swept the top three team places, as the men put five in the top six spots.

August 1: GSTC Announces Fall Racing Schedule


The adidas Garden State Track Club's Leadership Team announced the team's racing schedule this fall. In addition to following the USATF-NJ Grand Prix, the club will be attending the Paul Short XC Invitational at Lehigh University to preview the 2014 USATF Club National XC Championship course.

July 17: GSTC Announces Summer Enclave Group Run Schedule


The GSTC's Enclave Captains have established the club's summer enclave run schedule. Ten enclaves are now offering regional group runs during all days of the week. These include the North, Summit, Jersey City, Brooklyn, Morristown, Central, Princeton, Beach, South, and Delaware Enclaves.

July 4: A Look Back: Spring of 2014 Season-in-Review


The club had a record-breaking spring, both on the roads and on the track. Not only did the 4x100 run the country's 2nd fastest club time in America (40.83), the men and women continued their winning streak on the USATF-NJ Grand Prix circuit.

June 30: Women Win 17th Straight; Club Opens 134 Point Lead


Maria Danna led the women to a dominating first place finish in the spring Grand Prix finale, as the ladies averaged 31:19 for the USATF-NJ 5 Mile Championship. Their top five women won by fifteen minutes and forty-eight seconds over the second place team.

June 23: Johnson Drinks from P-Cup; Men Sweep 1-4 Team Spots


Chris Johnson won the 2014 President's Cup, the fourth year in a row a Gold and Black member drank from the prestigious cup in victory. The men had the most dominant team performance in the history of the famed event, placing teams 1-2-3-4-8-9-10. The team's top forty finishers averaged 16:58, with the top twenty averaging 15:55.42.

June 23: Rozemberg Runs 17:19 to Lead Masters Men


Hernan Rozemberg paced the men's masters 40s team at the USATF-NJ 5k Masters Championship, hitting the tape at 17:19, while masters captain Matt Baker was the top finisher for the 50s team in 18:56.

June 19: Coach Parisen Announces Couch to 5k Training Plan


GSTC coach Mark Parisen has taken over the club's Couch to 5k program, a long-standing group that supports new, inexperienced, and developing runners. He has began sending weekly email plans to the Facebook group, along with doing group and individual sessions.

June 15: Men, Women Both Top 3 in adidas Grand Prix Metro 4x400


The Black and Gold sprinters shined at the adidas Grand Prix Metro 4x400, as the women finished second sand the men finished third in very competitive fields. In addition, the men's 3:12.37 broke the club record set last year, when the aGSTC relay won the club national title. Due to their partnership with adidas, 110 club volunteers helped the the professional meet, broadcasted live on national television, run smoothly in NYC's Icahn Stadium.

June 7: GSTC Hosts College Ave Mile: USATF-NJ One Mile Championship


The GSTC played host to the USATF-NJ One Mile Championship, as the College Ave Mile debuted on the Grand Prix Championship Series for the first time in association history. A double-loop course around Rutgers University's historic College Avenue, this event has become the state's biggest one mile road race.
