February 20: Men, Women Win DMR Titles at Millrose Games

 

NYC- The adidas GSTC broke two club records and dominated the distance medley relay at the 109th Millrose Games. Thanks to anchors Alfredo Santana (4:04) and Carmen Graves (4:45), the men and women won in 9:49 and 11:37, respectively. Both are the fastest club times in America, and both were the first DMR wins for the club.

February 20: Women 4x200 Break Millrose Games Record

 

NYC- The quartet of Miki Barber, Ugonna Ndu, Jacqueline Todd, and Jessie Gaines rolled to a sizzling 1:38.58 finish in the 4x200 relay, breaking a three-year old Millrose Games meet record. Lead-off runner Barber, the owner of a 2007 gold medal from the World Championships, later finished 7th in the 60m, qualifying for USAs.

January 23: Club Celebrates 2015 at Club Banquet

 

New Brunswick- Hosted by the New Brunswick Elks Club, 160 aGSTC members congregated for three hours to celebrate the 2015 season. Guest speakers included Christina Epps, Anselm LeBourne, and Matt Bach. Along with a catered meal, attendees watched the 2015 highlight video and welcomed Cheyenne Goglas to the aGSTC Hall of Fame.

January 14: aGSTC Announces Garden State Grand Prix

 

North Brunswick- The Spring Racing Committee of Kyle Price, Prudence Jones, Katie Castro, Josh Neyhart, Karen Auteri, and Tim Seeley discussed the team's racing schedule for weeks, and finally they came up with a series of races throughout New Jersey. Club members will compete against each other through participation, age group PLP, and enclave performance.
