Orthopaedic Specialists to the Runners
At University Orthopaedic Associates (UOA), we understand how important running is to those who enjoy participating in the sport. We also understand the impact it has on you when you can’t do what you love because of an injury.
From running to field events; recreational to professional, we have years of experience treating and preventing runners’ injuries as well as enhancing performance. We are now proud to care for the Garden State Track Club runners as the official orthopaedic practice.
Experience the UOA Difference
From adolescents to adults, high school, college and professional athletes all benefit from a team approach with UOA. From onsite diagnostics, treatment, physical therapy and rehabilitation to sports performance management, we ensure patients are back on the field healthy and, when possible, at pre-performance status or better. In fact, as part of our Continuum of Care, our practice views the athlete’s whole career.
Our qualified team offers a complete variety of nonsurgical solutions, and when surgery is called for, we specialize in cutting-edge minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures.
In addition, we stress our physical therapy programs and provide expert rehabilitation with such programs as Bridge the Gap to assist patients in healing both quickly and efficiently following treatment.
Taking Training to the Next Level
We are proud to offer injury prevention and performance classes with training specialists through our Sports Performance & Wellness department. This additional benefit provides important education regarding training and staying healthy.
