Jason never trained or competed as a runner until the fall of 2012.  He joined GSTC in the fall of 2016 and began competing as a GSTC master in the USATF-NJ Grand Prix.  During this time he has achieved PR’s of 4:54 in the mile, 16:52 in the 5k, and 35:17 in the 10k. He continues to train and improve with the GSTC masters team and has begun competing in USATF national races as well.  Outside of being a competitive runner, Jason has taught high school Art and Photography in Cresskill, NJ for the past 18 years. He and his wife have two children, Ivan and Lyla. Jason has a background in construction and has been renovating his 90 year old home in Haworth, NJ since 2007.
