Epps Elected into GSTC Hall of Fame

August 3 – New Brunswick, NJ

The GSTC Leadership Team announced triple jumper Christina Epps (Morristown, NJ) will be the enshrined into the club’s Hall of Fame at its upcoming Gala on August 24th. Epps, a GSTC member from 2015-2019, is the only club member to compete in the Olympics, as she finished 2nd in the Olympic Trials in 2016. She was also the USA champion in 2015.

Boys, Girls Youth Relays 4×800 Earns All-American Status

August 13 – Greensboro, NC

Two GSTC 4×800 relays earned All-American status down at the AAU Junior Olympics last week. The 15-16 boys team of Alex Califano, Matt Califano, Aadit Trivedi, and Max Kahn won the silver medal, while the 13-14 squad of Ananya Raja, Aanya Trivedi, Prisha Kulwade, and Charlotte Szczubelek earned bronze medals.

Graves Finishes 3rd in NACAC Steeplechase

August 23 – Bahamas

2022 GSTC MVP Carmen Graves, an Olympic Trials steeplechase finalist in 2021, finished 3rd in the NACAC Steeplechase Final. This capped a banner year for Graves, who started off 2022 by anchoring the GSTC’s DMR to victory in the Millrose Games.

Club Celebrates Banner Season in Summer Gala

August 27 – Somerset, NJ

For its 9th straight year, the GSTC gathered over dinner and speeches to celebrate a banner season of wins, PRs, medals, and team achievements. 55 plaques were awarded to youth, masters, and open members.

GSTC Signs Class of 2022 Superstars

September 3 – New Brunswick, NJ

GSTC announced the signing of several new members into their Tracksmith Elite Program, including Bianca Toledo (2020 Olympic Trials marathoner), Billy Hill (4:02 miler), Robert Guidicipietro (14:31 5k), Kiera Nealon (4:47 miler), Grant Johnson (52.2 400IH), Sean Petersen (4:11 mile), and Sophie Cantine (4:38 miler).
